Looking for blueberries? I just got an email about the Downeast Organic Blueberry Alliance. Their website is: http://www.downeastblue.com/ and they sell to buying clubs.

Thanks Alison for starting this up. I learned so much from the workshop on Friday. I hope to start using Google Docs soon for the COMOC buying club.

This is great Alison! Thank You so much for all of the knowledge you shared on Friday. AND ALSO a huge thank-you to EVERYONE who participated in the workshop. My head is still spinning from it. Every morning I lay in bed dreaming about the possibilities of Eastport's Buying Club.

Amy Zipperer (Ellis' Mom) and I are beginning concentrated efforts together in forming a club in our area, hoping to provide from many different food producers first, and then supplement with Crown of Maine!!! We're psyched.

We're also having a regional meeting on Wednesday....

YAY! BUYING CLUBS!!!

Thanks for creating this Alison, and thanks for all the great organizational tools that you shared at the buying club meeting. I edited a copy of your google doc spreadsheet to fit our buying club's needs and we'll start using it this week. Maybe Joe and I could come down to Portland some time when you guys are having an organizing meeting to learn some more.
Also, I have a friend that just graduated from UMF and is living in portland.. I bet she'd be interested in becoming a member.

Your friends and family rave about your homemade chowder, blueberry jam, ice cream, fudge, or other special food product. They say you should sell it and make a fortune. You wonder if they’re right, and if you have the drive and personality to run a…
