Other info about Me (please mention any food, fishing, agriculture, or community groups you are affiliated with):
The Belfast Co-op works with other like minded organizations to promote local food. We host free educational events teaching people about putting food up, cooking local food, growing and storing local food. We are a drop off point for the Community Supported Fishery out of Port Clyde. We belong to the Belfast Farmer's Market as a way of supporting them. During the spring we have been tracking how much of our sales include local foods. We are selling $6000 on average a week during the slow season. We plan to track a whole year and will keep you posted with the results.
