Other info about Me (please mention any food, fishing, agriculture, or community groups you are affiliated with):
I am a gardener, stone and brick mason, life long student of herbs and plants, soon to be licensed massage therapist and the I recently started a small herbal business called Herbal Revolution. I have apprenticed on farms in Maine and California, I have been involved with a couple of summer garden programs for kids in Maine and Vermont. I am a member of mofga and supporter of food for maine's future and farmland trust. I support and shop at farmers markets and natural food stores or coops all over the state. I am a supporter of Avena Botanicals and Blessed Maine Herb Farm and Fedco. I am strong believer in the need to have a strong community connection with the farmer, schools and families. People are eating way to much crap and producing an unacceptable amount of waste. We need to be educating kids along with adults on what they are eating, where it is coming from and how to compost...the trash leaving our schools and homes need to be reduced.
I love to grow and eat beautiful and colorful foods, cook, swim, hike, listen and play music, knit, dance!, cat nap on warm stones, lay in fields and enjoy delicious beer aka (Marshall Wharf Brewing) with friends...and the list goes on.
