Other info about Me (please mention any food, fishing, agriculture, or community groups you are affiliated with):
I love good food! Years of restaurant work, a stint on a vegetable farm in Oxford, Maine and a graduate degree focused on resource economics and sustaining small farms were some of the chapters of my food odyssey...
Most recently, my passion for sustaining small producers and for preserving access to local foods led to work with the Midcoast Fishermen's Cooperative of Port Clyde, Maine. I worked with this group of fishermen to create the Port Clyde Fresh Catch brand, and to develop a seafood business and supply chain for their seafood.
Right now I'm looking forward to my CSA share and the summer season's fresh veggies!
