It's a federal, not a state, bill. A quick search for "HR2749" on Google turned up this: H.R. 2749: Food Safety Enhancement Act of 2009 (GovTrack.us) A bill in the US Congress: To amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to improve the safet…

Proud of country and garden

This morning out in the garden, the birds were singing, and the brood ewes were wandered around the pasture, lazily looking for a few last mouthfuls of grass before settling down for their afternoon nap to chew their cuds. Getting Ready for Farmers Market

Now is the busiest time. Running a small farm while we both work and need to make time for family is challenging. Karla graduated from Champlain College, Magna Cum Laude, with a degree in Marketing. We are so proud. Derek is finishing his Freshman Year at Fryeburg Academy and enjoying friends, video games and playing his electric guitar.

Will be busy now, turning compost into garden and plant, plant plant. My favorite time of year.… Continue
