- Slow Food Seacoast is a nonprofit organization of people who believe in food that's good (fresh and tasty), clean (environmentally healthy) and fair (supports those who make and grow it). More than 500 participants help put on programs and sponsor projects to improve our food system and celebrate community. Each year we hold public events like potlucks, talks, tours, and picnics and work to establish gardens and support markets.

New Gloucester's Market will be open for Mother's Day, Sunday May 9.
Cumberland, Falmouth, Yarmouth, Gray, and Freeport will all be open by the end of May. Lewiston's three markets will open in mid June.
