- I work with community members and organizations throughout the Mount Desert Island region and Hancock County to create positive changes toward healthy and more secure local food systems. Maybe I'll try to list them at some point!

I want to grow corn for the first time. I live in Bangor with very acidic clay soil. What seed would people recommend? Can I find a seed that is similar to the maize that Native Americans once grew?
