Eat Maine Foods!

The dead of winter is passing and with each day that moves above 32 degrees, I'm reminded that spring is coming! Then, I start to think... I'm not a bear. I'm not hibernating. I've got to get to work!

This past month has been a busy one for Barkwheats. We have been adding new stores all the time, getting more free press than most other dog treat companies out there, and are gearing up for more distribution throughout the country. Our current focus is on the New England Products Trade Show next month. It'll be the first time we've done a show like this, and we're really excited to be a part of it. I made my 1/8 scale booth out of cardboard scraps so I could easily visualize it. Now we're gathering pieces to make it all, and booking hotel rooms, and getting our order forms together... so exciting!

Are there any in the Oxford Hills area? or the Lewiston / Auburn area? I have cut flower bouquets (in season) and think a buying club is a great idea.

Cassie, I agree with the below messages - go to the Dept of Ag website or call someone there and find out what you need for a license depending on what you sell. I sell perennials and it is a quick form and it comes back just as quick. I carry liabi…
